PartyScape Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026 ยท applies to partyscape.club and official portal versions of the game
PartyScape is a free browser game run by a small team. These terms are written in plain language on purpose. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You need a username and password. An optional recovery email is up to you; without one, a lost password can mean a lost account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. We will never ask for it, in game or anywhere else.
- Guest accounts are deleted after 3 days of inactivity. Register to keep your progress.
- Accounts are personal. Don't share, sell, buy, or give away accounts.
2. Multiple accounts
- You may have up to two accounts: one regular account and one Ironman account. Ironman accounts can't trade, so the pair can't be abused.
- Using multiple regular accounts, or any setup that funnels gold, items, or rewards between your accounts or dodges anti-abuse limits, counts as exploitation. We roll back gains from it and may suspend the accounts involved.
3. Fair play
- No bots, scripts, macros, or automation. The game is idle-friendly by design; if you feel the need to automate it, something has gone philosophically wrong.
- No exploiting bugs. If you find one, report it in chat or on Discord. We credit bug reporters by name in the changelog. Knowingly abusing a bug for gain can lead to rollbacks or suspension.
- No real-money trading: buying or selling gold, items, or accounts for real money is not allowed. The only exception is any official supporter option we may sell ourselves.
4. Chat and conduct
- Keep chat decent: no harassment, hate speech, slurs, or spam. A filter is in place and moderators can mute or ban.
- No impersonating staff. Real announcements come from the Jarvis account or official Discord.
- Don't post other people's personal information.
5. Your content
- Chat messages and names you submit stay yours, but you give us permission to display and moderate them in the game.
- Community suggestions (like item name ideas in our rename events) may be used in the game, with credit where we can give it. Submitting an idea doesn't create any ownership of or payment claim on the game.
6. The service
- PartyScape is provided as-is, free of charge. We work hard to keep it up and to keep your progress safe (including off-site backups), but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or zero data loss.
- Game balance, content, and features change over time. That's a live game; numbers on items and skills are not a promise.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We aim for warnings and proportionate action first, permanent bans are a last resort.
- If we ever shut the game down, we'll give reasonable notice on the site and Discord.
7. Age and privacy
- You must be at least 13 to play (16 where local law requires a higher age for consent without parental approval).
- How we handle data is covered in our Privacy Policy. Short version: we collect almost nothing and sell exactly nothing.
- We store the IP address your account was created from and last used from, to stop spam, ban evasion, and bulk throwaway accounts. Details and retention are in the Privacy Policy.
7a. Keeping the game usable
- New guest accounts can't post in the public chat channels for their first few minutes. Party and room chat still work, and creating a free account removes the wait. This exists because throwaway accounts were being made in bulk purely to spam.
- There's a daily limit on how many guest accounts can be created from one connection. If you hit it, register a free account and keep playing.
- We may block a connection from creating new accounts if it's being used for spam or ban evasion. This never affects an account you already have — you can still sign in.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll announce it in the game news and on Discord with the date updated above. Playing after a change means you accept it.
9. Purchases and refunds
- Optional supporter purchases (like username changes) are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- All purchases are cosmetic or account-service only and never grant gameplay power. That's a design promise.
- Refunds: if a purchase didn't deliver (payment taken, nothing received), contact us on Discord and we'll fix it or refund you in full. For delivered digital goods, EU customers acknowledge at checkout that the service is performed immediately, which waives the 14-day withdrawal right once delivered; if something is wrong with what you received, talk to us anyway. We're reasonable.
- Chargebacks on delivered goods may lead to account suspension. Please talk to us first; we're easy to reach and faster than your bank.
