Most idle games are single-player with a leaderboard bolted on. PartyScape Chronicles puts everyone in one world, so the things you do are visible to other people and often depend on them.
One shared server
There are no shards or instances for the main world. Global chat is one room, the market is one market, and a world boss spawn is one event everybody sees.
Playing together
- Parties — group up for a bonus to experience that scales with party size, 2% per member up to 8%.
- Raids — take a boss as a small group rather than waiting for a server-wide spawn.
- Clans — standing groups with their own bank, boss and progression. See clans.
- Duels — direct player versus player with staked gold, where gear and boosts are frozen once both sides agree.
- The exchange — every price is set by another player. See the player economy.
Idle does not mean alone
Because progress continues while you are away, the world keeps moving between your sessions: prices move, bosses are killed, and the shared canvas gets painted. Coming back after a day is a different experience from coming back to a single-player idle game, where nothing happened without you.
